Vision:

All participating communities are made safer places to live and fewer children,

youth and adults living in, or affiliated with, these communities are likely to

become involved in substance abuse.

Mission:

The Northwest Baltimore Drug-Free Community Coalition is in the business

of assisting residents to plan, coordinate and implement multiple strategies to

prevent and/or reduce substance abuse among school-aged children and

their families.

Program Goals:

(1) To reduce substance abuse among youth and overtime among adults by

addressing factors that increase the risk of substance abuse and

promote the factors that minimize the risk of substance abuse in our

      community; and

(2) To establish and strengthen collaboration among neighborhoods, private

nonprofit organizations, businesses, federal, state and local agencies to

support our efforts to prevent and reduce substance abuse among youth.
