Board of Directors
Project Garrison, Inc. is a
faith-based, community-based nonprofit agency seeking administrative assistance,
both volunteer and paid staff. Assist in answering phones and taking messages, sort and deliver mail, greet clients and visitors, light typing and other duties as necessary. Are you a Baltimore City resident over 55 years of age with a household income at or below the poverty level? Are you looking to update your current work skills or learn new work skills? The Senior Community Employment Program sponsored by the Baltimore City Health Department provides work opportunity for seniors of Baltimore City meeting certain criteria. Applications may be picked up at Project Garrison's offices located at 3717 Springdale Avenue between 1pm and 4pm Tuesday through Friday. Also, the Mayor's Office of Employment Development provides opportunities for community service assignments. They will identify, orient and refer potential community service participants for community service assignments. You can obtain additional information by contacting them at 800-513-7439. |
