_files/images/button140.gif) | The Project Garrison NW Weed & Seed initiative received official recognition by the Department of Justice Executive Office of Community Capacity Development in November 2000, and is completing its fifth operational year. We operate in the northwest sector of Baltimore City along the Garrison Boulevard corridor between Wabash Avenue and Gwynns Falls Parkway. The primary offices and Safe Haven are located at 3717 Springdale Avenue.
Programs Partnerships In support of our mission, Project Garrison NW fosters partnerships in the religious, government, educational, political and business arenas. They include: Garrison Middle School; Hilton Elementary School; Orchard Park Christian Jubilee Church United Methodist, Wayland Baptist Church; Enterprise Foundation; Baltimore City Community College; National Women’s Prison Project; Department of Justice’s Community Capacity Development Office; US States Attorney’s Office of Maryland, Baltimore Area Health Education Center (BAHEC), Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC), Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America (CADCA), First Church of the Brethren (FCB), Baltimore City Northwest District, Greater Northwest Community Coalition, Dr. Concetta Culliver, Professor of Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement at Coppin State University and others.
